My wall walk was rather uneventful. I was using a Tennessee Holster Company IWB and arrying a Springfield Armory XD40 4". I was wearing my usual get up of boots and jeans and a polo shirt. I had no problems wit the printing. Then again, maybe I did. I jus didn' worry about it at all. It was a normal day in wal mart. Bought some ammo, got my son a toy and groceries. I walked around my house with wearing my piece. I think that helped a lot!

Didn't get a chance to post yesterday since I was out all day.
But I do have an update...........

Checked my status this morning and there it is in lovely black letters with a green background... MAILED!


Maybe I will have it by Saturday.

One of my status updates happened on the weekend as well. At my work we always replicate and update our databases on the nights and weekends because we have more bandwidth available for that process. Large batchces of CHL along with every other type of file are most likely on the same schedule.

congrats! WOW! I am still waiting on the BGC. I will put another pot of coffee on.

Right there with you xpert! I am only on my 3rd week. But everything happened so quickly, I thought my BGC would have been done. I think the one thing that was a horrible decision was for me to log into the dps site to check my status.I can't stop doing that now.

As I patiently wait for my background check to complete, I bought a Springfield XD-40. Any recommendations for a holster? Both IWB and OWB.

Compared to the previous months applicants, our group is sailing through the process at warp speed. Now I am thinking if I should trade my G17 for a G19? I am trying to check the DPS website only 6 times a day now!
