I don't think that Billy Bobs is considered a family enterainment place. I used the term "entertainment center" tongue in cheek and for lack of a better term. To be blunt, the dance hall portion is a honky tonk. I'm sure it's posted with the 51% sign.

Billy Bobs selling point was you could go to the rodeo, and then go around the corner and be at the dance. They also brought in good C&W entertainment for the dances.

But like I said, that was back in '82.

IIRC, Billy Bobs is an "entertainment center" that has a restuarant and a rodeo arena and a dance hall. The entertainers performed in the dance hall. And the dance hall served alcohol. I wouldn't think of carrying in there. But the last time I was there was 1982. :grin:
