Carry guns/equipment- I haven’t decided on my primary but it is between my SIG p365 & Kimber micro 9. I just purchased an HK VP9- it’s great at the range but a little too big to carry. As far as equipment I’m in trial mode. I can’t decide what is going to be more comfortable. I’ll report back once I know more.
Welcome to the forum, I hope you gain as much from it as I have. I am also a transplant to Texas, but have been proud to call Texas my home for 30 years.

Re: Introduce yourself

Congratulations and welcome to the forum. I think you will find this a friendly and informative place.
If it's in the car it needs to be hidden, You can hide it by putting a cloth over it.
Carrying it concealed in your car this way isn't by the authority of your LTC but by the Motorist Protection ACT.

roge wrote:HI, I'm roge. I'm clueless about computers.I'm trying to join in topics in CHL Forum. Due to my lack of computer knowledge, I'm struggling with the Whats,Whreres and Hows. I'm 60, but I'm trying my best, so please bear with me. If I do loge-in,I know you all would try to guide me, however I may not understand the instructions well. But as long as you can put up with me,I welcome everyone. I'm typing with one finger and very slow. It takes me a lot of time to write something. Thank, roge.
Hang in there roge, this place isn't about computers or the interweb, its about CHL guns and good people. If you need a hand just give out a yell and someone will surely give you a hand.
Welcome aboard.

I have a government size Springfield Milspec 1911 that is at the gunsmith's right now (Ed Vandenburg) for a trigger job and beavertail install. When I get it back I'm going to get into a CHL class. Can anyone recommend somewhere to take the class? I have membership at PSC. I think they teach it at PSC and Texas City but I don't know the people who teach the courses.
Drop El Gato a line and you will them know the Headmaster down in Texas City.

Texas city is hard to beat. Nice clean place and no joining required. I hope to meet you there someday.
I'm tall fat and ball headed. I usually just bring my Ruger shoot 100 rounds and go home. There is a pic of me at http://www.libertysblog.com click on it to get a little bigger. If you ever run into SeamusTX. make sure you say 'howdy' to him also .. He is real nice people too.
