I hear a lot abot some guns needing their springs changed after 10,00o rounds or so, I wonder if with modern designs and springs if this always necessary. It seems as thoough saome guns can get pretty high use and yet seldom one hears of replacing springs.

One seldom replaces valve springs in a modern car engine. if they last so long, it stands to reason that some gun springs should last longer than the gun.
