Nothing really changes with the legality of OC, the same as how nothing changed with the legality of CC. You simply go about your daily business, but this time your armed. When I would OC nothing changed except the manner in which I carried. I mowed the lawn, took the dog for a walk, shopped for groceries and pumped my gas and bought a beverage the same way I always did.

... So, I truly believe that the mere sight of a pistol in the hands of a good guy brings more positive benefits than negative.
Thanks for these insights about OC from first-hand experiences. Very informative and helpful in forming conclusions about that possibility in Texas and the potential benefits. I suspect the biggest opposition from police chiefs will be from the national organization of bleeding-heart, liberal, big-city PD chiefs. I believe the average LEO on the street would welcome licensed OC once they experienced it. If they see the CHL as a certified good-guy license, they see an open carrier as a good backup. And the unlicensed bad guys would not carry openly for fear of interception and arrest before they could carry out their dastardly deeds.
