Somewhere a long the way in an a previous season ... I remember them stating a wide range for how long it takes people to turn ... from minutes to many many hours.

I posted this a while back in the other Walking Dead thread. I thought it was pretty funny. I remember thinking about this during season one when they would use the radio as a narrative device.
