Re: The President writes about guns in AZ paper
"Common Sense" tells me not to trust anything that he says. If it sounds like he is supporting gun owners, then you know he is not.

I don't know, but something like that (him), makes you start to see where Gun Control people come from. Diffintly not a good role model for the responsible gun owner.

Re: Olberman abruptly ends MSNBC show
I doubt if MSNBC sent him on his way. Looks like he had the highest ranked show for them, which thank God is not much. They should show that brain less Chris Mathew to the door, he's at the bottom.
Better yet, MSNBC can go away and no one would care.

Blue & black grip. Coat with johnson tree wax and you are good to go. Also, the recoil isn't as bad as some would leave you to believe. 100 rounds per range trip is nothing.

Re: "long" shirts for concealment
When I first started carrying IWB, I didn't think any shirt I had was long enough even if it was half-way to my knees. I got comfortable with it over time and now fined that I can be OK with shrts that come to just below the belt. It is mainly just the newness that will make you uncomfortable. Don't...

5.11 Tactical Vest
Looking forward to the coming fall and starting to change the wardrobe some. I bought a 5.11 tactical vest the other day and I'm having trouble coming up with a way to get my Glock 26 to stay in place inside the hidden pocket. I know they sell a clip in holster for this, but was looking to see if an...

I love my MTAC since I can carry my G23 or G26 in it. With 1 1/2 Wilderness Tactacl belt it is all day comfort.

Re: Restoring Honor Event in DC
I thought it odd that Sharpton had to have a rally the same day with almost the same name. Also, does he have a rally every year to mark Martin Luther Kings "I have a dream speach". Odd to celebarate the 47 the year. Did they have one for the 45th year. I can see doing it on the 50th, but ...

I thought all of the guns in Star Wars were future Glocks. All other manufactuers were left in the past Centuries. Glocks are "The Force" .

Re: Suggestions for a portly man
I spent a lot of time looking for something to make it more comfortable to conceal carry. Thanks to this forum I found what worked best for me was a MTAC holster and a 1 1/2" Wilderness Tactical belt. I think getting the belt sloved more of my problems then the holster. I had been using leather...

Re: Prevent Rust from Carry, Rather than Storage
I found someone asking the same question on another forum and one suggestion was to use Johson Paste Floor Wax. The person claimed he had used it on all of his guns for the last 40 years. Not sure if that is true, but I'm trying it on one of my steel blue guns. I know this has been great for proctec...

Anyone know who to contact to get a copy of your DD-214. New where mine was for years, then wife decided to clean house. Guess it feel into old trash. Anyway, sorry if I hijacked the thread for this, but I didn't know you could get a discout with it for your CHL. I guess I thought it meant Retired. ...

Re: "I Carry A Badge" Leather Concealed Weapon Permit Holder
I saw a holster in Sportsman Guide the other day that had a place for you CHL in the holster. Can you see going to get your CHL out and have to go near your gun with the LEO looking on. NO THANK YOU. Boy they come up with some STUPID things to sell these days. What's worse, is people buy it.
