I don't think they were buying them. From what I remember when this passed they were just requiring people to turn them in or send them out of state. "Send them out of state" is the gimmick used to bypass the Constitutional requirement for compensation.twjones wrote:Can't be an "assault clip" - anything with "assault" has to be painted black, doesn't it?!
I'll bet if they did their buy back again they would of had better results - wasn't that some place in CA that was buying back 30rd mags (which anyone could get for 8.99 or so) for like $15 each?

You many not realize it because you're not part of our ruling elite, but there are 30 caliber magazine clips out there that allow gun toting right wing lunatics to shoot 3600 rounds per minute....though Jerry Miculek apparently isn't competent enough to pull it off, or isn't right wing lunatic enough.ScottDLS wrote:Waiting for firearm terminology police to remind everyone they are Standard Capcity Magazines![]()
Or are they Hi-Cap "clips" ? Easy to have an accidental discharge with. It's a grey area.

City residents were granted a “grace period” of sixty days within which to “turn them in,” or otherwise get rid of them. That period just expired.
During the sixty-day period, not a single one has been turned in!
