Can you elaborate? Maybe give some examples of who you consider traditional feminists? I'd put Camille Paglia in that category, and while I can think of some others, they're not counted by the feminist "leadership" or the media because they're libertarian/conservative. My youngest recently graduated from UT and he had to take a course in "feminism." The radical nonsense spouted in his class was as rabid and insane as any rabid and insane political philosophy I've ever heard. The feminist movement was getting a lot of attention when I was young...and that movement is what I tend to associate with "traditional" feminism. What we see to day is the logical extension of that irrational and anti-human philosophy. As I remember it at the time though, there was a large consensus that "feminism" was just attention for ugly and bitter single women living alone with lots of cats.

In fact, women who do defend themselves are apparently an affront to feminists.

People who are this delusional are simply incapable of rational thought. These mental cases not only don't want women to have guns, they don't even want them to fight off an attacker by any means. Well, if someone tries to rape my wife, they're going to get shot.
