Sure, there are exceptions, but they're few and far between. In general the MSM is anti-gun and anti-self-defense and they have been for as long as I can remember --and they use their media megaphone to further the anti-gun and anti-self-defense agenda.RiverCity.45 wrote:Not always the case. I recently read a story that described the ammo used as "full metal jacket, a military surplus round" or something equally nonsensical/evil sounding to the uninformed masses.

Re: CHL holder shoots man over child custody
That's not going to happen in a MSM article. The liberal trope is that HP bullets are evil bullets with magical killing properties --and that is the only reason they are mentioned in the article. The media is primarily interested in provoking certain emotional responses and either ignore or lie about the facts when they undermine the desired emotional reaction.Thomas wrote:It would have been nicer if the reporter wrote it like this (underline added in the second quote within the main quote above). The Annoyed Man wrote:speedsix wrote:...wee bit more info... http://www.ksla.com/story/16084221/wask ... g-to-be-ok" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; The bit about eeeeeeeeeeeeevil hollowpoints...that's just good solid reporting. The lungs are vital organs last time I checked......not so solid reporting.12KSLA wrote:....for reasons that are still unknown, Thatcher pulled out a handgun and shot Stanley Ray Tharpe in the chest with a hollow-point bullet which is designed to stop in the target as to not hit an innocent bystander behind the target due to over-penetration. I'm just sayin'
