My 11 y/o son loves the show and I caught a glimpse. It was the episode where some lady caught a Zombie, chopped each arm off and then placed his mouth/teeth on a big rock. STOMP and teeth went a flyin'

Awesome!!!!!!!
Ironic how violent scenes of this nature are purely acceptable, but displaying a human nipple is considered "pornographic".

That being said, I wonder if the firearms these guys are carrying imitate what the comic characters had? The good cops image is that of a "good ole boy" and I can tell you that one can't get more "good ole boy" than a western style carry and a colt Python.

My SIL informed me of one interesting factoid. The son, can't recall his name, was a very sadistic kid from early on in the comic series. Last season they finally began to make him a little butt kicker in the TV show.

Carl wasn't sadistic in the comic, that's another kid.

Carl learns early from his Father, and the new environment, that there are times we must do things that we don't enjoy, including the use of violence. Carl, and Rick, are NEVER portrayed as taking any pleasure from having to use violence to survive.

Re: The Walking Dead!

What I saw last night when they pulled the "ghost of Lori".....which I thought sucked as much as the "ghost of Shane" gig in the last episode.

AMC sure knows how to mess up good characters.

It's like they've gone from "keystone cops" to "the A-team".

Kind of leaves me feeling ripped off that we didn't get to see that kind of development in the story line of last season, instead of the soap opera / Emo junk they DID decide to focus on.

All I have to say is: Katana wielding zombie tamer!
Very thoughtful of her to bring a knife that can cut so many sandwiches in half, so easily, and can also be used for self defense when she's out of the kitchen!
