Re: Occupy Wall Street

The question is what is driving the anger and hehavior of the protestors for this length of time?
IMO, there are two key reasons.

First, many of those idiots espouse the same naive type of Marxist / Leninist ideologies that completely FAIL to take into account human nature.

Second, deep down inside, they FEAR freedom.

Freedom, for some, can be scary. Freedom means that the course of action you select can be either beneficial OR harmful. While most of us accept that challenge, AND the consequences of our actions, more and more citizens seem to be afraid to take that risk, AND to accept the consequences of the choices THEY make.

Nieves volunteers on Occupy Wall Street's security team, but says many new arrivals do not pull their weight.

"We have compassion toward everyone. However, we have certain rules and guidelines," said Lauren Digioia, 26, a member of the sanitation committee.

"If you're going to come here and get our food, bedding and clothing, have books and medical supplies for no charge, they need to give back," Digioia said. "There's a lot of takers here and they feel entitled."
Oh, irony, you're so silly....
