SMU may be trying to make everyone think it's been rectified. Fox4 News just said the mother confirmed they're still not going, stating that this has been a slap in the face to them.

I just watched it and I don't blame the young lady at all.

SMU decided to weasel out on the invitation, thinking that a 14 year old girl couldn't do anything. Word got out and outrage ensued. Now they're trying to do damage control, but it's not working.

This is a HUGE and well deserved black eye for SMU.

It sounds to me like SMU has no morals or values. They appear to just bend whichever way the wind blows. I think they felt a freezing hurricane blowing from the right.

I can't read SigM4's link. The site demands that I turn off my add blocker and I refuse to do that for the Dallas Morning Snooze.

Anything I might say would definitely break several forum rules.
