I received my renewal notification a few days ago and when I went online to begin the renewal my fee was $70 + the online fees...so yes, they do issue renewals for Seniors at the reduced rate even when the renewal is prior to your BD.
$70 is the regular rate... $35 is for seniors & veterans.
Senior Citizens pay $35. Veterans pay $25. :tiphat:

Yes, and you select "veteran" when you do the online renewal.

I renewed in 2014 and used a copy (front and back) of my retired ID card.
