Thanks I'll do that. Thought it was only a 5$ product applied to a gun and a little elbow grease. Only believe 95% of what you read on the internet.

So it's not a project I should take on. It'd be better off taking it to a smith or saving up some cash for a new stainless steel revolver ?

Remove bluing from gun
I have a blued Taurus 605 that I want to make stainless. I did a little research and it seems Birchwood blue remover is the way to go. Any experiences with type project and procedure will be appreciated.
