I certainly don't see anything wrong with denying access to firearms to people with mental health issues so long as the terms of denial are carefully designed to not entrap people who were falsely accused. We don't know if Loughner ever received any medical treatment for mental illness much less a diagnosis of some pathology, so at this point it is moot in his case.b322da wrote:"Legally?" This could possibly result, even in Arizona, in questions about limiting sales to certain categories of persons. Recognizing there was apparently no medical diagnosis in this case, that will most likely not inhibit moves, or publicity, in that direction.texanron wrote:I just heard the gunman bought the Glock 9mm legally from a sporting goods store in AZ on November 30th of last year.

Kos was one of the first to blame the Tea Party for the attack. Looks like he's eating some major crow now. And flushing all the evidence down the memory hole just like a good leftist does. Can't have the truth interfering with the story line.lrb111 wrote:Laughner was Boy Blue on the Daily Kos. They have "diary" pages. The Hillbuzz site captured the material posted at the Daily Kos as it was being deleted. They want to whitewash their site right now.
