I don't know about economy of scale, but $145 for a CHL I believe is too much. I am a Vet so I will take advantage of the pricing; but we would probably have a bunch more CHL carriers if it was cheaper to do so. Shoot I guess I am kind of a Socialist myself, I believe Government should subsidize firearms for the people. I had a very Liberal Boss whose head would explode when I told him the same. I also used to tell him I was giving to a group within the Combined Federal Campaign that provided firearms training to inner city youth...
