(Sarcasm) This is what I think of every time I hear, be a good witness, don't fight back, and etc. Many times, it appears to me anyway, criminals just don't want property, they often want your life as well. Often as well when you find out that your life is also required, is when you are laying down injured, or running outside on fire/or, as this lady. I for one do not intend to wait and see the criminal's intent or humanity. My take only, I would make a poor witness anyhow.
