I OC'd in Home Depot and Starbucks with no issues. I didn't notice anyone staring or caring either. I probably won't OC often, but I like having the option to do so.

Re: Sen. Huffines is killing HB910
If she was wanting to increase the penalties, wouldn't that have to be a another amendment, and not an amendment to the amendment? I guess we shall see in "five" minutes.

What defines "grounds" (with scenarios)
I have a question regarding what is considered to be "grounds ... on which an activity sponsored by a school or educational institution is being conducted". What exactly is "grounds"? Does that term include anything beyond the property line, or would the same exclusions from the ...

Re: Holster for skinny guy carrying Glock 22
I've been experimenting with different brands of jeans. I've actually found that my more modern looking American Eagle and Gap jeans are more comfortable to conceal with than my traditional Wranglers. I've at least found the "sweet spot" with my American Eagle jeans, at about 4:00. I posit...

Re: Holster for skinny guy carrying Glock 22
I usually wear western-style belts, so they are thick side. I'm looking into a good gun belt, though. My issue really isn't as much with printing as it is with comfort. When I sit down, it feels like the gun is either pushing against a bone or the barrel is digging into my back pocket, pushing on my...

Holster for skinny guy carrying Glock 22
Hello all, I finally took the plunge at got my CHL. My plan is to carry my Glock 22, or possibly my Beretta P9000 (.40) sub-compact, as my normal guns. I bought Cross-Breed holsters for each of the guns about two years ago. I was able to wear the guns at about 4:00 comfortably, with no printing issu...

Re: Laser on weapon during CHL proficiency testing?
Well, I tested this past weekend. I just put a piece of "electrical" tape over the laser, and had no issues. I scored a 232, which I don't think is all that bad considering I haven't shot in months. I would like to give a shout-out to On Target in Benbrook. Very knowledgeable staff. The ow...

Re: Carrying around felon friends/relatives
One thing that might be worth mentioning is that his probation officer has allowed him to keep guns in his home. First, I read this and thought, WHAT?! Then I read this and calmed down. They all belong to me, and they are all stored in a locked safe that he does not know the combo to. I live in a s...

Re: Laser on weapon during CHL proficiency testing?
Thanks, y'all. The grip is activated by a pressure switch between the thumb and index finger. There is no on/off switch. I will see if I can remove the battery without removing the grip. If I have to remove it after all, its not a big deal. Sighting it in again just means I have another excuse the s...

Laser on weapon during CHL proficiency testing?
Title pretty much says it all. I'll be taking my CHL course this weekend, and I plan to use my Glock 22. I do have a Crimson Trace laser grip installed on it. Will I be allowed to use this during the course? Is that up to the instructor or is it up to the DPS? I don't mind removing it, but I just go...

Carrying around felon friends/relatives
I'll be getting my CHL soon, and there is one issue that I have been pondering, but not been able to find a straight answer to. My father is a convicted felon, and is therefore prohibited from possessing a firearm. If I am legally carrying and he is with me, should something go wrong (stopped by LEO...
