Here is hoping for today, if not, I think I may have to check with DPS and see if they have any tracking ability. There is no reason for it not to be here by now given the last few Mailed/Receipt combinations unless it is lost somewhere. I called today and mine is still stuck. I was probably the last to get mine mailed in March, so it stands to reason that I will be the last to leave. Thanks for the encouragement. Congrats to all the rest and I will post as soon as I see any change. Ya'll have one (or more) and I will join you as soon as possible.

to all who have graduated, or know that their plastic is "in the mail", I hate all of you because I am still in a background under review status.

Today wasn't to be, I am still stuck at the background review.

I believe they give worse case scenarios. When I ask Rene how long it was taking to go from prossesing to approved, his answer was "60 days". Sounds as your wait is almost over, early congrats to ya!

Good news, maybe. I called to see why mine is still stuck at "background check under review" . They have recieved the background check, but since I did have a little minor felony when I was a minor about 40 years ago (I did claim it on my app), it may take a little longer than the rest. The good part is that it is currently being reviewed by a technician, so maybe I will have an approval status by today.

Congrats to all the March graduates. Are there any non-grads for March left besides me? I believe I was also the last to enter for March, mailed on 3/30. Hopefully, in the next day or two, mine will show that the background has been completed and that my card is being manufactured.

It seems that all action has come to a complete halt at DPS because of this FBI census deal. I'm not seeing any new news here about complete past 4/25. I would have thought mine would have hit the complete stage by now, but I already called and they told me that mine is on hold because of the FBI background check. Oh well, maybe next week.

Is there an excessive amount of times to check for status changes. It seems that I am checking every 15 minutes or so. I am 56 years old and feel like a kid waiting for Christmas.

I have e-mailed DPS several times for information. The person that has been responding always responds quickly, but he is kind of a butthead. I called once, and the lady that I talked to was very friendly, but she was unable to give any positive information either.
