PLASTIC IN HAND!!!!! I guess now I can turn off the light in here and close this one down for good. Thank you everyone for all your help. Won't be able to do the WW for a while still waiting for a holster. Call me superstitious but I wanted my plastic in my hand before I purchased one.

Thanks guys. I received my paperwork from NJ and faxed it over to TXDPS the next day. I called them an hour later to make sure they received it and the lady on the phone said yes we received it and you should get your license in about 2 weeks but don't be surprised if you get it in one. Needless to say I am stoked about finally getting this over with. Again thank you to everyone for all the help.

BGC COMPLETE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After the long wait and dealing with NJ finally my Background Check went green this morning. Now just waiting for for manufacturing and mailing of the plastic. I'm in the homestretch now and I want to thank everyone that helped me out and gave me advice.

Well after calling about 2 weeks ago and being told that they are working on the info from NJ and emailing on Fri. and also being told that a tech was looking over my background for anything that might disqualify me today I received a letter stating that I need to send them certified copies of the judgement and sentence from the courts. Wow really a simple phone call to New Jersey and you guys can find all these out. Now I need to call NJ and get the run around like I did before I sent in my application. That is why I wrote down everything on the application that I remembered from that. This is extremely frustrating. On monday it will be 80 days since they received my app, and not once was I told on my many calls about this not once. I cannot begin to tell you guys how frustrating this is. There is got to be a better way to do all this. From others on here that are receiving their plastics in 30 days or so it seems like they are not that backed up down there to simply pick up the phone and call. Now I have to spend half a day talking to people in NJ who don't seem to know anything but "let me transfer you to so and so dept". I disclosed everything on the app they have all my info and I find it hard to believe that they don't already have this info. AGHHHHHH!!!!!! I am going to see this through. I am going to get my plastic. I know that I have nothing in my background that will disqualify me.

Sorry all just had to vent and share another chapter in my never ending quest for my CHL.
oh by the way the website still shows BC under review nothing at all about letter sent like it did when my photos were "missing"

I emailed them today and I just got the generic email back about a technician having to look over my background check for something that may disqualify me. What ever that is suppose to mean. I just want a simple answer like "it is going to be ten days" or something like that. Oh well I have waited this long.
