It would be interesting to see how this case turns out and if the BG has any punishment as a result. It seems to be the consensus that gun charges become an add on to sentences rather than an originating reason for them. This case is obviously different. I would be willing to be that there will be a plea deal and that this guy doesn't see any serious jail time. So much for the deterrent effect.
