Here is an interesting question: How does the DHS reported statistics compare to other organizations, including LE? I would expect police forces, especially those in larger cities, to require sufficient training of their officers and that those officers would more likely have to use their guns in the course of performing their duties than the DHS agents. Either that or the news of the DHS "situations" is being blacked out. 285M rounds over 3 years still sounds like a lot more ammo than the US military used during the IRAQ war.
If all of that ammo is being fired here in the US, why isn't the EPA on the DHS for lead contamination rather than the EPA trying to go after hunters?
