I'll bet that $250 is from her original cutoff. I cannot imagine how Oncor could go after charges for what she used with the stolen meter unless they used the last possible meter reading that they had from that stolen meter. Like a lot of others who seem to think that the world owns them things, I suspect that she'll end up with probation for this theft and no restitution to OnCor. The rest of us will get to make the payment through higher electric charges. After all, she's a single mom with kids.....
