Agreed. But here is a question: The viewership of CNN and MSNBC have been low for years and Fox News is blowing past them for nearly all of his time slots. Why then isn't Fox News controlling the "Narrative" and not CNN? My answer would be that CNN is the anchor point for the propaganda which is then spread by other outlets. One could point to the fact that Fox News and other Conservative voices are suppressed on social media while CNN is given much more user access as an amplification of what they do. My experience locally is that few of my neighbors and acquaintances admit to watching CNN directly but all of them seem to know the CNN story lines. I agree that those story lines do not always originate on CNN. If I single out Joy Reed, who has one of the lowest rating among the CNN crowd, the things that she is saying seem to be on the lips of many of the Leftest faithful. Her impact seems disproportionate to the actual viewer totals but perhaps there is a different explanation for that.Charles L. Ratings don't matter. CNN and MSNBC are not intended to competitive organizations. They are propaganda machines. If CNN were anything else, they would have started changing to gain viewership when Bill O'Reilly was still the king on Fox. He was beating them like a drum even back then. Eventually, one of the Left wing moguls will buy them and keep them out of bankruptcy court. There is zero chance that either of them is going to go away or change.
