Re: May 2009 Applications
Ok, this doesn't seem right at all.
I just got off the phone with my "rep" who is responsible for my application. I was just told that my application has not even been reviewed yet because "[they're] just swamped." Really? She told me that my application hasn't even been reviewed yet. She said she has to go over my paperwork and that if I am missing anything or something is wrong she will contact me by mail or by phone.
I sent in my application May 19th. They recieved it two days after. This seems like something that should be done right when status is changed to processing. Are you telling me someone hasn't even looked at my freaking application yet?!?!?
What in the hell is going on?
----- UPDATE
After reading some more in the waiting room, it seems like this may be a big miscommunication from my rep. I did have to wait 5 years prior to applying for a class B misdemeanor. It seems like my application is in review, which means, my paperwork was fine, and my background checks came back, but something came back on my background check. Once they review it and make sure I supplied the correct "paperwork" ( documents required explaining final disposition ), my license will be completed.
Let's hope that's what it is.

Re: May 2009 Applications
Wow. I didn't understand the frustration others are having until now. I sent in my app in Late May. It's approaching 100 days and still "Processing".
I've called numerous times and left many voicemails. Still nothing. No one will give me a status on my application and want to send me to the agent processing my app. That would be great if that person would pick up her damn phone. *sigh*
