I won a EagleTac T10C2 from a flashlight fan website and still use it just about every day. I carried it on duty when I was doing my armed security gig and it worked just about as well as anything. I would get a couple months use out of a pair of batteries, would still work on low power so I saved them in pairs to be used in other low power lights.

They make several AA powered light that are slim and very carry-able, would consider them if I were in need of a china-light (EagleTac/Fenix/etc).

What I will likely buy next time if a Malkoff drop in for some of my lights. I have the old Brinkmanns that were a very close match to the P60-powered surefire lights, only I preferred the Brinkmann's feel for bad weather (rubber grip).

Re: Fenix lights?

$1.20 each if you buy 50...

Members of Candle Power Forums get discounts at many flashlight dealers, I bought batteries for $1 each a few years ago at Battery Station using my CPF user name.

$60 for 50 batteries shipped. His are the same as the Ray-O-Vacs, surefires, Streamlights, etc.

$1.08 each if you wait for a coupon from LAPG.

I bought my last batch of batteries from LAPG. The 100pk is $119.99 but they have 10% coupons every holiday and the free shipping helps on the other little do-dads I always order.

Re: Fenix lights?

Quality 123 batteries can be found for $1-1.50 each. I last bought a 100pk for $108 with free shipping, sold quite a few to coworkers at cost. I'll post some links later....
