I went again

Last time I went to this place I was disappointed, it seemed unsafe and run down. After reading some posts about how much they liked it, I decided to try it out again.
This range for the most part, attracts the low-end, untrained gun owner, apparently because there are no rules. The only rules are you must pay $7 for each gun you shoot and you have to obliterate your target before going to the next one. Nothing else is enforced.

I was shooting rifle at the 50 yard range and next to me was a guy shooting a .380. I couldn't tell if he was shooting it at the 50yd or 25yd, but he was getting a series of misfires. After a misfire, he'd pull the gun in, finger still on the trigger, and examine it while pointing it at the line of shooters to his left. Once as he was pulling it back, it discharged, fortunately, not at anyone but at a slight upward angle. He quickly straightened out his arm as if he could direct the bullet to the target.
When he was done or fed up with the misfires, he swings around, pistol in hand and tosses it down without dropping the mag or racking the slide.
He was also shooting an AR and a mosin-nagant.
I mentioned my concerns to the lady RO and she just said "yea, I think I saw that, too."
The 3yd and 15 yd sites were full.
I packed up and left.
If this range were taken over by a responsible person, I'd be upset that they are closing. As it is, I'd probably never go back again, anyway.
