Re: Lazy eye question
Older lady, one eye looks a different direction than the other. Using iron sights did not work at all, but the holographic sight worked wonders. I am no eye doctor! I really like my eotech, and it seemed to work for her. Would a pistol red dot (like burris for a Glock 34) work the same? I am thinkin...

Lazy eye question
Hey guys, it has been a long time since I have posted. All I can say is sorry! I took a few ladies out shooting this last weekend, and one of them had a "lazy eye" and has said that she has never been able to shoot because of it. She tried a few handguns and really didn't do well. I asked ...

Re: I have gone and done it…first tupperware firearm.
Went to the range today. I have come back frustrated!! The pistol performed perfectly, no problems. I upgraded the sights to green fiber optic, again no problems. Every shot i took was left of the mark. I am used to steel frame rigs and the trigger safety thing has me messed up I think. I only shot ...

Re: I have gone and done it…first tupperware firearm.
I daily carry a Kahr, so I am used to the "pointy clicky" thing. The 17+1 will be fun to get use to though!
It is certainty not a very handsome gun.

I have gone and done it…first tupperware firearm.
I just purchased by first ever tupperware firearm. Everything I have up till now has been made out of some kind of metal, mostly stainless. My daily carry is stainless and heavy, but weight has not been an issue. I am looking to take up IDPA shooting as a hobby (some guys bowl, I want to shoot) and ...

Glock 42 in .380
Just announced at the shot show in Vegas is the newest from Glock. Glock 42 in .380. Initial reports say that they have stayed true to what glock is (trigger pull, grip angle, etc). Some at the show are calling it your backup to your backup. I for one can not wait to get one in my hands. Probably no...

Re: Best 9mm ammo for Defense?
I have a bunch of the Hornady Critical Defense for most of the handguns I carry and have had really good experience with it with one exception. My Kahr MK9 Elite really hates this round. It likes the Cor Bon 115 +P...eats it like candy. Each gun is different. Try a few different rounds through each ...

Re: Rifle for my son
Sorry for the delay in building this thing. Work got busy and waiting on parts. What we have done was probably the expensive route. We started with an Aero Precision stripped lower, Timney drop in trigger, and Magpul everything on the lower. We have two uppers, one is a Yankee Hill 5.56 black diamon...

Re: Rifle for my son
Ordering next round of parts. Lower and stock are complete at this point. I am ordering the upper with parts kit and a barrel. I am looking at the Daniel Defense pencil barrel and was wondering if I should get a gas block or not. All of my other AR rifles came with gas blocks. Again, I am looking fo...

Re: Rifle for my son
Just finished my son's lower build with the buffer tube. Building this has been a blast with my son. He is SOOOO into this. I will say that the Aero Precision lower and the PMMG lower kit were really good together. My question is what caliber to build this rifle on now? This will be a deer rifle use...

Re: Rifle for my son
50ish pmags  Really? That's a bunch of PMags. About 6 months ago that might have been all there were in Texas. Hey, at $8.99 a piece (Magpul 30 rnd PMAG Gen M2) I loaded up, and a number of my family and friends did also. I typically don't panic buy, but in non-panic times I have been know t...

Rifle for my son
I got an unexpected half day off on Friday and decided to drop by my local firearm shop just to see what was going on. By the end of the day I walked out with 50ish pmags for a great deal for a few of my buddies and myself. While I was there, the guy behind the counter said "We have Precision A...

Re: Forum Member ID at the 2013 NRA Meeting
Printed my extra ID, hope to meet many of you there. I am volunteering from 7am till 7pm on Friday, and plan on attending most of the day Saturday. If volunteering is fun, I may even do it again on Saturday if there is a need. This is my first NRA event and I have absolutely no idea what to expect. ...
