My wife has gotten to the point where she will tell me she can't see anything before we leave for anywhere if I'm carrying or not because, even after almost 3 years of carrying, she knows I'm still conscience of printing. I do tell her when I am carrying so she knows what to do if anything happens. I've talked to her and our children (11 & 18 years old) about what to do if something were to happen. I recommend having that conversation with your wife at the very least. If she was unaware that you were carrying for 45 days, how would she know what to do if something went down? It is essential for no one to be between you and the BG, and you may not have time to move your loved ones out of the way while engaging a threat. We all hope that day never comes, but better to be prepared just in case. But it does sound like you've got the concealing down like a pro!
