Advise - Motorcycles and CHL

Hey Everyone,
Need some advice. I am currently deployed, but have planned a long motorcycle ride this summer when I get home. I have already checked, and the states I'll be riding through honor Texas CHL licenses. Normally, I carry a Glock 27 at 6 o'clock in a Bianchi IWB holster. Does anyone have any advise on carrying on two wheels? I'll be logging over 1300 miles each way, and the idea of going "naked" doesn't sit well with me. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
