However, in the situation described, and said individual had already been hostile and erratic, combined with the new threat of producing a pistol, then really the talking is over, since it had no effect but escalation the first time.
I doubt he brought a friend and a firearm to help me fix the vehicle.

Nested IF statements are so unwieldy.

SELECT - WHEN loop is so much cleaner and is self-documenting.

Heaven forbid a new Plastic Holder got your code, and then started shooting at the wrong spot due to poor documentation.

But, as pseudo-code, its a nice outline.....
