I went online yesterday and filled out the application. I checked the box Veteran. When I checked out and paid for it, the invoice was for $70.00 (50% discount). I did not read that I would have to send in my DD-214 or some other type of proof of being a veteran. Perhaps they just take your word for...

I'm going to print a copy of the Motorist Protection Act and keep it in my glovebox.
It would not surprise me to learn that some police officers don't know the law.
