My wife loves her G-19, but wants something a bit smaller to carry in her purse (please don't change the subject to talk her into on-body carry...... Baby steps!)

I have given her a couple of choices, and both, she felt were too "snappy" vs her Glock 19.
Walter CCP 9mm

She does haves Kimber Solo, which is snappy, but with the weight of it, it doesn't seem to be as snappy as the CCP or Shield is.
And while she likes the Solo, she has a difficult time racking the slide, and if I am going to get her to carry, it is up to me to find something I feel she will actually carry and not resist too much.

So while she loves her Glock, I thought the Glock 43 could be a good compromise. But I don't (yet?) own one, and am interested in your thoughts on recoil from the G19 to the G43.

So, if you have shot both of these, specifically at the same time to compare the recoil of the G43 vs G19, I would appreciate your comments on how much worse (or better?) the G43 recoil is vs the G19.
