Wife and I got CHL at the same time (well, she didn't send her paperwork in for 2 months, but we took the class together).
She didn't get her CHL to carry, mostly so we would both learn CHL laws and so she could carry if she ever wanted to
Mostly she could work within the confines of MPA.
She will carry when I push her to carry but feels that if I am with her, I will protect her (we have had the discussion of what ifs.....)

So my answer was "Spouse carries" but could have been "Spouse has CHL, doesn't carry and is not always sure why I carry"
