William “Bill” Alton James, Jr., 65, 18 year resident of League City, Texas, passed away August 24, 2012. He was born July 26, 1947 in Meridian, Mississippi to parents William Alton James and Margaret Louise James. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He was the owner of the Arms Room in League City, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife Mary D. James; daughters, Brandy Liss and Kathleen James; sons, Bradley and Travis James; sister, Carol Kepner; brother, Bobby James and wife Lynn; and two grandchildren, Kaylee Liss and Cameron Liss.
Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday, August 27, 2012 at Crowder Funeral Home located at 851 Hwy. 517 @ 646, Dickinson, TX 77539.
A church service will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at Heritage Park Baptist Church, 2732 FM 528, Friendswood, Texas 77546. Interment will follow at Houston National Cemetery located at 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, TX 77038.
