I posted my response on a different thread, but basically they replied that they are only waiting on the background check to be complete, even though the status still shows "Packet mailed to applicant", so the status did not (or maybe does not) change at 'actual' changes.

Drop them an email at chl@txdps.state.tx.us , as it has been 5 weeks, I think its time they said something.

They will need your
Full Name
and Drivers License or SS # to follow up.

I check mine, also 2-3 times a day, hoping it will go from Application Mailed to Applicant to Processing
Mine was signed for on March 26, so today makes 11 days from signed for and no status change... :headscratch
So I sent a very polite email to them today, asking when it will change, lets see what they come back with.
I'll let you all know when I get a response.
