I'm partial to 357sig, but it is expensive to shoot. I have a SIG P229/357sig and I have a Glock33(357sig). I have 40S&W barrels for both guns and 9mm conversion barrels.

you have that option with the XD as well...

Purchase the .40 and you then can purchase the .357 Sig or the 9mm barrel if you please.

I have XD's; a 9mm and the .45 ACP.

I have shot Glock's but they don't feel as good in my hand as the XD and the XD has the grip safety--to me a major advantage over a Glock; both the Glock and the XD have the trigger safety.

As far as disassembly... it's a push. I can take either one of my XD's down as fast as my son-in-law can his Glock.
