It's the classic IF / Then statement in programming that we've all heard for years:

"IF you outlaw guns THEN only outlaws will have guns"

lets add the ELSE statement that goes along that nobody's added until now (that I know of).

"IF you outlaw guns THEN only outlaws will have guns ELSE the public can defend themselves and chase the criminals away."
