These days, it's mostly shooting. SWMBO (KD5OUY) and I are sharing a car, and I haven't quite persuaded her to let me set up the dual-bander that still works in it yet. The landlord says I can put up an antenna, but my best ones are at the back bottom corner of the storage locker, so I haven't even had my 10m rig fired up in a while.
Either one of you two going to do 'Field Day' this year?

To dry fire or not to dry fire... that is the question.

I hear so many people say: "Never dry fire a weapon, it will ruin the firing pin."

I hear others say: "Practice by dry firing."

NOW I'm so confused.

Which is right?

My S&W 66 it was a NO! NO! to dry fire.

My XD-9 says it's ok to dry fire.

I"M really CONFUSED!
