Re: Any advice on holsters/safes/storage of handguns while in your car?

In my truck, I lock it under the back seat when I *have* to leave it in the vehicle. It's a keyed lock at least.

Re: Possible Leather Work Needed

Maybe he could line one of the pockets in Velcro for you then you could use after-market stuff like that found in Maxpedition's bags. Thinking of something like this: 3501b4_1707_detail.jpg ...this is a universal CCW holster that can be seen at http://www.maxpedition.com/store/pc/UNIVERSAL-CCW-HOLST...

Re: CHL holder killed by police in Las Vegas at a Costco

Still all hearsay, but now the police are saying they have over a dozen witnesses saying the guy pulled his gun http://www.8newsnow.com/Global/story.asp?S=12796152" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; NOTE TO ADD: The witness reports that the news are quoting saying they saw the...

Re: property you control

Welcome tomw...

You raise a good question and my vague recollection is that if you are watching a neighbor's property with their concurrence, then yes you have the right to defend said property. I am sure others more informed than I will chime in. ;-)

Re: Concealed Carry handbags

My wife picked one up there a few weeks back as well. Roy had several on display and told me his wife found them. They were priced right and very nice for the money. Here's the web site if anyone would like to see what's available, along with prices: http://www.gungear.com/cgi-bin/ez-catalog/cat_dis...

Re: Anyone into hot peppers?

The heat comes on immediately and lasts a good half hour. It intensifies for about the first 10 minutes then it plains out. I have seen people selling theirs on ebay for $5 each. Pretty crazy. I am not at a point where I have enough ripe peppers to give out. They are slow to ripen. As for the taste...

Re: Thanking our troops

This is an outstanding idea and I, for one, am going to help the cause. Next time I see some active duty folks, I am going to pick up their tab. I remember coming home from Vietnam. We were ordered to change out of our uniforms and into out civilian clothes due to the war protesters, the violence, e...

Re: The Arms Room, League City

Unfortunately, the cost of doing business these days is constantly increasing. I wish Bill and the Staff well at the Arms Room, but for the life of me I can't figure out how they're going to pull this off with the cost of Membership prices as high as they are along with the overhead at the facility...

New Galco made in Arizona

I recently bought a Galco as well. Glad to hear it's an Arizona business... I have done what I can to show my support for those folks. It's irresponsible what our Federal Govt is doing (or not doing) when it comes to Arizona. God Bless Arizona!!
