I know more than a few CA cops that have told me the same thing. They had no interest in jamming up an otherwise law abiding citizen.

Indeed and I would definitely carry when going back to CA to visit friends and family. The height of irony is that I would have more rights as a visitor than I would as a resident.

I love Texas. It's home and both of my kids are native born. I still hate seeing what the state I was born and raised in has become.

Yes but they haven't decided yet if components will be regulated or not.

As you might know, California does have inspection stations at the border for agriculture and other things. It wouldn't surprise me at all if they start asking about ammo too.

Oh and the state doesn't have this process figured out yet. So from what I can tell, nobody can buy ammo in CA right now.
