I'll be headiung back to ski country real soon. Although my permit is recognized in CO I've heard Denver is not to happy about permitted people who are armed. Although I've never had a problem in CO and never pulled over, I'm wondering if the climate has changed since Aurora & Newton and perhaps...

Re: Crime Statistics: CHL v. General Population
Sorry. I meant unlawful carrying of a weapon. There were 29 cases. What does that mean?

Re: Crime Statistics: CHL v. General Population
I'm wondering why so many CHL's have had trouble with carrying prohibited weapons. Can you or someone elaborate on this? It sure does not help our image. Are there lessons to be learned?

Re: Trip Through OR, WA, CA, & NV - Carry?
Sounds like OC is legal in NV an OR but are you sure it is tolerated throughout both states? Since I don't have a carry permit that is accepted by either state then OC may be my only option.

PA CHL after TX CHL expires
My TX CHL expires in May 2010 but my PA CHL is good till Summer 2011. Because I may be moving out of state I will not renew my $140 TX CHL anytime soon. Supposedly my PA CHL is valid at least in TX, OK, AR and NM. However it will not be accepted in Colorado since I'm not a PA resident. QUESTION: Any...

Re: NPS Penalty for carrying in federal building?
And what about the Spitfire mace spray I keep on my keychain. Is that a dangerous weapon also?? The post offices I go to only have an obvious No Gun sign. BTW: Regarding post offices I try to go to the private ones and they don't have 30.06 signs.

Re: NPS Penalty for carrying in federal building?
Thanks! I also learned that my pocket knife better be less than 2 1/2 inches. Time to get out my ruler!
I wonder how many people like me did NOT know that about pocket knives and Federal buildings??

NPS Penalty for carrying in federal building?
The question regarding which specific buildings on NPS land are off-limits or not for concealed carry may not be settled for a while. But for now we need to know what is worst case if a CHL owner carries inside the wrong building: Maximum cost of fine? $______ If jail time what is the max?____
