IF your doing work like a plumber might have to (or are a plumber...LOL) consider a holster like the Kangaroo Carry.. IMO, much better then a fanny pack, though not as good as an IWB like a super tuck, and of course even less good then a properly fitted OWB with a good gun belt.

But Our daily tasks and required clothing wear dictates what is best for each of us. I have worn my carry gun in two different holsters today based on what i had to do, and wear.

If it stayed in his holster and he paid no more attention to it then say his gauge set, or any other tool in his bag,, Id say / do noting.
