Re: NRA and TSRA Support CSHB700

I have learned that all committee substitutes in Homeland Security & Public Safety were "withdrawn subject to vote" meaning they were laid out and debated, then they were withdrawn until the vote on the individual bills. This is usually the following week when the Committee meets agai...

Re: NRA and TSRA Support CSHB700

Got this email today from Rep. Lavenders office Good Morning –   The hearing yesterday went very smoothly. We had many passionate individuals along with Alice Tripp from the Texas State Rifle Association testify in favor for HB 700 “Open Carry”   We laid out our Committee Substitute to address conce...

Video of Florida CHL getting arrested

I think the holder should have stayed in the vehicle and handed his chl over with his DL. Still, this officer went a little overboard with his reaction. News reported this case was dropped after 17 days and the officer has been suspended. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkclsB7M0g4&feature=youtu...

Re: OC v CHL

I'm disappointed at seeing another attempt to get pro gun people to fight against each other instead of fighting together to defeat the anti gun enemies. :iagree: That is exactly what disturbs me when I visit this forum. Instead of everyone banning together to expand our gun rights we pick what's i...

Re: would u let a guy know he is printing?

I wish we could get a sensible, responsible OC bill passed so this "printing" topic could get laid to rest. But I'm pretty sure it never will. It'll just be another topic to divide our side by criticizing and finger pointing at others who do things differently. While I agree that I wish w...

Re: Florida nears 1 million permits for concealed weapons

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't Florida allow OC? Nope, only similar to Texas. In Florida open carry is lawful while engaged in, or going directly to and from, lawful Target Shooting, Hunting, Fishing, and Camping expeditions. FL Statutes 790.35(3)(h), (j), and (k) Additiionally, you have to ha...

And very specifically the sign MUST be a minimum of 2 feet by 3 feet, EACH sign. Although it would be interesting to see some place put up a 30.06 sign and not a 30.07. Thats one of my questions. I understand that people want 30.06 left alone and a different sign for open carry. The reaso...

Magpul fighting for survival in Colorado

Colorado HB 1224 would essentially put em out of business in that state.
