Re: Pictures Of Your Daily Carry
I thought the black box was a shot timer for a solid 10 seconds, I was really quite confused.

Re: New Shotgun
As luck would have it though, there was at least one 100rd case of 20ga in the Walmart shopping cart market 12ga I'm not in the shotgun game yet, but for when I finally do get there I'm curious how often this happens. I've never seen it happen before. I told the people at Walmart it was a terrible ...

Re: Need Help with Rifle!
If you're on a tightish budget get yourself a Marlin 336w 30-30. Great caliber to start out with IMO. It's what I'm starting with. As long as you're not expecting to be taking 200+yrd shots it's perfect. You can also save money on a scope with a 30-30 because you won't need anything for longer than...

Re: A word about small CC guns
While small guns have their uses, no one ever came out of a gunfight wishing they had brought a smaller gun, and I'm sure some people didn't come out of a gunfight because the gun they brought was too small.

New Shotgun
I just picked up my 18in FN SLP yesterday and took it out to the range. As luck would have it though, there was at least one 100rd case of 20ga in the Walmart shopping cart market 12ga that I just so happened to grab, so all I had was 5 slugs. The gun shot great, but I still have some sighting in to...

Re: what features=quality?
The manufacturing process is important. Milled parts are almost always of higher quality and precision that cast parts. Honestly though, I still believe feel is one of the best measures of quality. An action that feels good is going to be smooth, and demonstrates tight tolerances, which are indicati...

I lived in Red River for a couple of years. Beautiful area geographically speaking, but not my favorite culturally.

Re: Sig P229 Ammo
I've never had any problems with any ammo in my 229, but I have not tried running Hornady critical defense through it. I agree that checking the mags would be a good idea.
