Nice! Join the CMP Forum and post good pics of parts on the M1Garand and the M1 Carbine sub forums. They'll tell you exactly what you have as well as identify any non-USGI parts. The Garand is a H&R and the carbine is a Winchester. Neither one looks to me like they've been arsenal refinished.
I'll start researching these soon. Does anyone have any good tips on where to start?
