If you are going to use a .38 Special revolver for range use, I recommend using 130 grain vs. 158 grain. Quite a difference in recoil IMHO. Also most .38 target loads come in Lead Round Nose (LRN), but I prefer the FMJ which costs a little bit more.

J frames are the smallest frames for S&W revolvers. They get larger as you go deeper into the alphabet (K, N)urnoodle wrote:I saw the SP101 so I'll look more at that one too.
