Dallas World Aquarium 30.06?
I can’t find any listing for the Dallas World Aquarium stating that it is posted 30.06. Anyone have recent knowledge in this regard? I ran across a discussion on a forum that claimed that it was an educational institution because it received funding from “educational sources” and was therefore cover...

He should have used Slime. The makers claim that it will plug a ¼” hole in a tire.

Re: Is Open Carry Activism Threatening our CHL rights.
The only thing that concerns me is the possibility (please note that I said ‘possibility’)of the proliferation of 30.06 signs. Suzie soccer mom sees a gun and screeches to the manager of the store. Will the stores cave to this? I don’t know. OTOH having the general population exposed to guns on a da...

Re: OCT: Proposed OC ACT for 2015
I'm not sure what you are trying to say or the point you are trying to make. My point is very simple, legal or not it is not only stupid to carry a long gun into Walmart, it is also detrimental to the cause of advancing gun rights at both the state and federal level. I'm saying everyone has their o...

Re: OCT: Proposed OC ACT for 2015
Apples and oranges only from the standpoint of it being an EBR as EBR’s do carry a negative connotation in some circles. So make it a Remington 700 or a Mossberg 500. To me a gun is a gun. I can say that I’ve known people that couldn’t care less about a long gun (EBR’s excepted perhaps) that can’t s...

Re: OCT: Proposed OC ACT for 2015
Sorry, but the guy in Walmart with the AR does bother me. Why? Because he is crying out for attention and people who cry out for attention eventually do irrational things. Please don't tell me it has anything to do with 2A enlightenment because it doesn't. There are much better ways to do that than...

Re: Firing a 'warning shot' into the air
We don't have reckless endangerment in Texas. Perhaps Deadly conduct or disorderly conduct? Yup! Deadly conduct was the charge. Sec. 22.05. DEADLY CONDUCT. (a) A person commits an offense if he recklessly engages in conduct that places another in imminent danger of serious bodily injury.(b) A perso...

Re: Firing a 'warning shot' into the air
Well I guess he should have shot them instead of running them away??? Personally I would have pointed the gun at the closest thug and told them to back off. If they did I would have called the cops, filed a report, and gone home. If they failed to take my warning I would have them shot the nearest ...

Firing a 'warning shot' into the air
Here’s what happened as it was told to me: ‘John’ was gassing his vehicle. Thugs in car start yelling comments. (Knowing ‘John’ as I do I’m sure he said something in return although he claims he didn’t.) Thugs pull their car in front of his and pile out heading toward him. He’s 25 and has a gun in h...

School carry question
Our granddaughter attends a private Christian school. I had a chat with the head man today regarding their CC policy. He told me that CC is fine as far as the school is concerned. He only asks to know who is carrying. YEEHAW! Not only that, he has a CHL as do several members of the church. They even...

Question regarding legal ownership
Here’s the story…….. I know a young man that got nailed on a domestic violence charge when he was 14. He and his brother got into a fight and ‘daddy’ called the cops. He received 2 years probation. (Total bull in my opinion.) Fast forward several years. He bought a .22 rifle from one of the local sp...

Re: Proper CH *size*
I carry a Ruger P-90 at all times.
I’m a firm believer in muscle memory and want everything to be totally automatic. Having to stop and think about which gun does what and which one I’m carrying doesn’t work for me.
