Re: Proper Exersize
Have you tried audiobooks? I find that getting lost in a story makes workouts (particularly those like walking that are not exceedingly strenuous) go much more quickly/pleasantly. I do not have the time or patients to read good books but I find I really enjoy books while I walk, mow, paint and such....

Re: ISIS murders two American bicycle tourists in Tajikistan
Evil is a make-believe concept we’ve invented to deal with the complexities of fellow humans holding values and beliefs and perspectives different than our own Nope, it’s real. The second half of his quote is spot on though. By and large, humans are kind. Self-interested sometimes, myopic sometimes...

Re: Social no no?
I agree with Maduro. I got the impression that if many of the individual actions taken by the guy in question would have happened it likely wouldn't have raised alarms. When done all together in short order it flagged. Do you open carry? I think hand on gun when open carry will raise many peoples ey...

Thank you just wanted to make sure I understood the data correctly. Making sure that it was not summarized by individual or something else I had missed.

Re: How Law Abiding are LTC Holders?
Can anyone confirm my thought? When looking at the DPS data posted up string, is it true that the total convictions is not a # of individuals? For instance if someone is arrested and convicted of robbing 2 homes it could be that one person makes up both BURGLARY OF HABITATION convictions on the repo...

Re: 3 D Printed guns in the news
Lots of folks will get confused and believe it is now okay to manufacture one of these guns which to my understanding would be illegal unless you go through proper federal paperwork channels and include a serial number on the newly manufactured gun. Would there also be a difference between the mere...

Do not get on them wet. Family friend broke her neck when she tried to show someone how it works just after getting out of the pool. She will still tell you they are great but is paralyzed. So, be aware of the risks and take the steps to mitigate them.

Re: Unmask Antifa Act
Charles, I understand your point. However, even in your explanation "Wearing a mask while participating in mob crimes are mission-critical for most cowards in the crowd." you point out that the law is making it illegal to break the law while wearing a mask. It is already illegal to break t...
Re: Fess Up
so much for your 1st amendment. i'd leave it up. and if they made me take it down sue the pants of someone for violating my 1st amendment rights. The company that owns the board decided it didn't want it up, this has nothing to do with the 1st amendment. Actually it does. Politically correct Nazi's...

“The Travis County Sheriff's Office said brass knuckles are growing in popularity amongst women.” God forbid women protect themselves! If it stops ONE rape or assault, I think it should be allowed! Careful with absolutes Eunuching all men would stop at least one rape. I say this mostly in jest but ...

I am not very familiar with that type of holster. Can you not holster the gun and then put the holster on? I do this (I actually generally just leave my guns in the holster 90% of the time.) Yes Lint will be a continuous adversary for as long as you continue to carry. unless you get one of those WW2...

I expect they change hands because it allows them to simultaneously slam that plunger with their left hands while grabbing a moonclip with the right.
Rather than holding the gun with the right hand forcing them to slam the plunger and THEN grab a moonclip with their left.
